Walking in Ambleside

Our stay: Cumbria University - is located 0.5 miles out of Ambleside, on the main road to Rydal, within easy walking distance to the shops, bars and restaurants. The nearest train station is Windermere.
Single occupancy "hall" rooms are en-suite, with bedding, towels, but no toiletries. There is a fully equipped, shared dining/ seating/ kitchen /cooking area, for each flat.
We have provisionally booked 4 flats (11 single rooms in each flat) so 44 places are reserved in total.

Rooms this year are now £57 per night inclusive of crockery pack. The total is £171 for the three night stay per person.
A £57 deposit will be required to secure rooms, before 31st May 26 and the balance to be paid by 24th August 26.
Optional led walks will take place on Sat and Sun, plus an organised group meal, for the Saturday evening. As always, you are free to do as you please, it is your weekend away. You can even book direct should your plans differ, However the demand for this university accommodation is quite high and they are not as flexible as Bangor.
